Celebrity event planner COLIN COWIE wrote a very good article on the importance of timing and flow at a wedding reception, and one of the things that stuck out for me as I read it was this gem:<\/p>\n

Guests don\u2019t notice when timing is working well; only when it\u2019s not.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Isn’t that quite the truth?<\/p>\n

If a wedding reception is flowing and the guests are having fun, then they don’t look at their watches or wonder when it’s going to end. On the other hand, if a party isn’t flowing well, it becomes very obvious.<\/p>\n
