At this past weekend’s Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo, a bride-to-be asked why I didn’t offer uplighting and photobooths when other DJ companies offered it.<\/strong>\u00a0 She even mentioned that some other companies threw it in for free, along with the traditional DJ and MC service!\u00a0 She was almost incredulous that I didn’t.<\/p>\n

The way I see it, there are two good reasons why I don’t offer extra services like uplighting and photobooths at Hawaii weddings.<\/p>\n

First, there are other great companies that already do a fine job providing these services.<\/strong>\u00a0 For uplighting, I usually recommend REA Events<\/a>; not only do they provide uplighting, they also provide visual design, decor, and other goods to help you create an incredible and INTEGRATED look at your celebration!\u00a0 For photobooths, I usually recommend Photobox Hawaii<\/a>, Flashlab<\/a>, and PartyPix Hawaii<\/a>.\u00a0 They’re all great and provide awesome customer service to my clients.\u00a0 Check them out, give them a call, tell them I sent you!<\/p>\n

Secondly, I’m not a jack-of-all-trades that can provide many different services of average quality.<\/strong>\u00a0 I provide a highly specialised skill: not many people can successfully help their clients create FUN, UNIQUE,<\/strong><\/span> and UNFORGETTABLE<\/strong><\/span> wedding celebrations, and even less people can STAND IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE and make that party happen.<\/p>\n

I can make that party happen, ya know? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"arsenacasey\"<\/a>First and foremost, I am a professional Master of Ceremonies.\u00a0 If you’ve ever had to speak in front of a room of strangers, then you know how extremely difficult it can be, to speak well and be entertaining.\u00a0 In order for a person to do a GREAT job at your wedding, your MC needs to be focused on it.\u00a0 After all, they are representing YOU.<\/p>\n

If your DJ\/MC is also thinking about uplights and photobooths, will they be focused on your wedding?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I also provide DJ services because I started out as a DJ, and because I realise that the musical soundtrack and hosted entertainment go hand-in-hand in creating a seamless and integrated presentation for you,<\/strong> much like how the linens, chaircovers, uplights, and decor create a unified and integrated look to your event space.<\/p>\n

So you can hire a Do-It-All DJ to do an average job on a lot of things…<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Or you can hire a Certified Professional Master of Ceremonies like me to help you create a “fun-loaded” presentation<\/strong><\/span> where your guests will laugh, dance, and celebrate with you all night, and you’ll feel happy and stress-free about everything!<\/p>\n
