Happy Mother’s Day!

To all of my former clients who have gone on to motherhood and taken on the hardest and most important job in the world, Happy Mother’s Day!

I am fortunate to have my mother see me in at least two events in her lifetime.  The first few years when I had started my company, she always harped on me to “Get a real job.”  She knew that this career made me happy, but she never fully understood how much it meant to my CLIENTS as well until she attended her first one as a guest.  Her co-worker’s son had hired me to be the emcee & DJ for their Hawaii wedding in Waikiki, and of course, Mum was invited as a guest.  When she saw just how much fun everyone was having, and how much joy I gave to the guests, she understood that this was much more than about the money – this was about creating happy memories that last a lifetime.

Here she is at one of the last weddings she saw me perform, at my cousin Jon’s wedding to his lovely wife Claire.
